Christopher Peter Meloni is an American actor and is famous for his roles in well-known television series 'Law & Order Special Victims Unit. He discovered his love for acting in his early days at school and then pursued acting studies in The University of Colorado at Boulder. His characters in television have gained him a lot of attention. The ability of his characters to appear in both legal and non-legal settings is what has caught the attention of the public. He was the voice of a serial killer in his first television series project and then went on to play the role as an NYPD detective. Multiple times he was nominated for both the prestigious Emmy Awards, and the PRISM Awards. It is his trademark eyelashes that are piercing and blue, which are said to make the actor look gorgeous. They have helped to play the rough characters in an enthralling style. In 2006, he appeared in the People's Magazine's Sexiest Men Alive list.
